New seller: Pizza Pilgrims

If you are having a bit of an off day, I know a team of people who you can count on to cheer you up. Two brothers, James and Thom Elliot began their street food business Pizza Pilgrims around a year ago. And what a year it has been.
In that time they have squeezed into a tiny van and driven around London on numerous occasions, they have probably made more dough than you could pile into the back of a small lorry, spun it into more pizzas than you could challenge someone to eat in 10 programmes on Man v. Food, taken part in hot wings challenges, done pop-ups with food selling out in just minutes, begun writing a cookbook and, last but not least, signed up to starting a restaurant. If this sounds like an advert for the Pizza Pilgrims, it’s probably because I think these guys make excellent pizza and because of that everyone has wanted some: Thom and James – and their steadily growing team – have not stopped for one second. This weekend they will be trading from The Real Street Food Festival on the Southbank.
So it is with much pleasure that I introduce a seller profile for the Pizza Pilgrims – pizza you can eat during the week at a market in the middle of Soho. Try the nduja.
Thank you to Chris Keeling for the profile which you can read here.
