New seller: Horn Ok Please

It has been a wee while since a new seller profile made an appearance but I am pleased to direct you to LSF’s new trader, Horn Ok Please (HOP).
I have visited Gaurav and Sandhya’s Indian street food stall on a number of occasions and felt it was about time word was spread. The first time I came across HOP, almost a year ago, Sandhya said that out in India, street snacking on bhel, pani puri and moong dal dosas is what everyone does. On that basis, she felt it was time people in London realised that there was far more to Indian food than just curries. If it sounds like a cliché, it’s because too many don’t realise this yet.
The pair go to India about once a year for ideas, thus at HOP you will find all sorts of Indian-inspired street food snacks and recurring ingredients include coriander, ginger, garlic and spices. They currently appear at markets including Kerb Kings Cross and Borough so I hope you find time to track them down.
This review was written for LSF by the Indian chef and food writer, Maunika Gowardhan. Click here to have a read.
