DETAILS for Downstairs at Blacks: pop-up dinners
Hello street foodies,
Here is all the info for the pop-up dinners I’m coordinating at Blacks club in Soho. The first one went down a storm last Saturday and we’re taking bookings for street foodies The Green Goat Food this Saturday.
See some of you there.
DOWNSTAIRS AT BLACKS
You think you know Soho… but have you ever eaten underground at Blacks?
Over the summer the kitchen at Blacks will bring in some of London’s best freelance chefs to cook up a storm from its tiny kitchen. If you choose to join them, you’ll turn off your phone, tip toe downstairs, drink some punch and venture towards the restaurant. Once inside, in keeping with Blacks’ tradition, there must be no tweeting, calling or texting until you come up for air.
INFO: Blacks is a members club housed in a Georgian townhouse in Soho. The dining room’s original panelling is studded with original Hogarth prints and the house is lit by candles and open fires. Entry is via the basement…
