The return of the top trailers

Lots of exciting news today.
1. Checked in at the new Pitt Cue Co restaurant in Soho last week on one of its soft opening nights. It’s a tiny wee place with just 20 seats but there’s a bar at the top for whisky, beer, wine and, if you’re up to it, their latest version of the infamous Pickle Back and Skin shots. The pulled pork, St Louis ribs and “burnt and mash” were all scrumptious and I hear Jamie and the gang have big plans for the bun bar which they’ll have on during lunch hours. BUT, the restaurant aside, they tell me the trailer will be back in the summer so if you can’t get a booking in Soho, there is still a way in. LSF will keep all ears to the ground.
2. Yianni tells me that he plans to reinstate his MeatWagon this summer. So if, like me, you haven’t managed to leave work two hours early to get a seat at the Meat Liquor restaurant on Welbeck Street yet, the burgers might get to you instead.
p.s. If those pesky thieves want to try and steal Meatwagon the Third from its happy Peckham home, they are idiots. No Meatwagon = no burgers from the Meatwagon. Not hard to figure out.
